AS Premia KPC sold more than 500 000 pcs ice cream per day

AS Premia KPC, being in top 2 ice cream distributos in Lithuania with 20 % of market share, has established severeal records in sales of ice cream during this hot summer. “At the moment Premia’s all production lines are operating in full capacity, producing 40 tons of ice cream per day in order to fulfil the demand all over the country, putting full efforts on that both from sales and production side, “ claimed General Manager Alvydas Malakauskas. “ It is the good news that our people have started to value also high quality ice creams that have been created to match the local taste preference, which enables Premia KPC bring more interesting and of high quality novelties to the market . This summer’s hit has been our Klasika range – well known ice creams, made of cream and having 13% of fat content, which makes the ice creams soft in texture and cooling in taste”, he added.

Ice cream consumption in Lithuania is around 5 L per capita and the country faces quite high seasonality. The difference between consumption of ice cream in summertime and wintertime may exceed 5 times.
